The library provides access to the databases and indexes listed here through the Library Moodle site. Indexes include citations - and sometimes abstracts as well - but no full text. Databases include full text documents.
ABI Inform Complete
This comperhensive business database from ProQuest provides global as well as domestic perspectives of current business trends. It includes close to 3,900 full-text titles that cover business and economic conditions, corporate strategies, management techniques, as well as competitive and product information.
AccessPharmacy
This online resource covers a variety of tools and reference materials for Pharmacy education, providing access to a select list of core textbooks as well as tests, case studies, and multimedia. Create a My AccessPharmacy account for mobile access. This database is only available to Pharmacy students.
Anatomy.tv
This anatomy database includes layered anatomy drawings, dissection slides, physiology information, pathological radiologic images, normal radiologic images, magnetic resonance images, and biomechanical animations. Also includes customizable quizzes.
Bookshelf
This medical database includes full text books on alternative medicine, spinal cord medicine, surgical treatment, and more. It is freely available for anyone to use anywhere with an Internet connection.
Cases Database
This medical database provides access to free, peer-reviewed medical case reports from BioMed Central.
CINAHL - Cumalitive Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature
This is an EBSCO allied health database that "provides indexing for 2,737 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health....dating back to 1982." It links to some full text articles from Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition database.
Clinical Pharmacology
This database has a drug identifier tool that enables you to identify specific drugs based on a physical description. Drug name search results include drug description, interactions, products, and medcounselor sheets. This database is only available to Pharmacy students.
DynaMed
From EBSCOhost, “DynaMed is a clinical reference tool created by physicians for physicians and other health care professionals for use primarily at the point-of-care. With clinically-organized summaries for more than 3,200 topics, DynaMed is the only evidence-based reference shown to answer most clinical questions during practice." This database is only available to PA students.

ERIC - Education Resources Information Center
This government education database includes over 107,000 full text documents from 1993-2004 and 1.1 million citations going back to 1966. It is freely available for anyone to use anywhere with an Internet connection.
Facts & Comparisons eAnswers
This drug database provides access to the most up-to-date drug information through drug references such as Drug Facts and Comparisons, Drug Interactions Facts, and A to Z Drug Facts as well as clinical calculators, dosing tools and tables, and patient oriented information. This database is only available to Pharmacy students.

This general database is freely available for anyone to use anywhere. Includes free access to over ten million articles from business, academic, and general periodicals.
FreeBooks4Doctors!
This medical database includes access to 650 medical books that are freely available in full text online.
Grove Music Online
A database for online music research "Including more than 50,000 signed articles and 30,000 biographies contributed by over 6,000 scholars from around the world."
Health Source - Consumer Edition
This is an EBSCO allied health database that provides “information on many health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine and general health. Health Source: Consumer Edition provides access to nearly 80 full text consumer health magazines”.
Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
This EBSCO allied health database "provides nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines." It "also features abstracts and indexing for nearly 850 journals."
Lexicomp Online
The Lexicomp Online database is one of the ways Lexicomp delivers drug information to the healthcare industry. Lexicomp Online allows you to search by keyword or browse categories. In addition to supplying calculator and drug interaction tools, it also lists recent FDA drug approvals and special alerts.
Micromedex
Micromedex enables the user to find evidence-based drug information quickly by providing a wide variety of tools that maximize search options. These databases tools help the user identify, find and compare drugs, identify drug interactions, measure dosage amounts and more. Our current subscription includes POISINDEX, DISEASEDEX, DRUGDEX, IDENTIDEX, RED BOOK Online, and more.
Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database
This comprehensive database provides evidence-based information on natural medicines. Search by product, drug, ingredient, disease, or condition. It includes search functions for natural product/drug interactions and nutrient depletion issues. This database is only available to Pharmacy students.
Natural Standard
The focus of this database is on integrated medicine, providing evidence-based information about complementary and alternative therapies. The information is categorized by level of available scientific evidence.
ProQuest Criminal Justice

This biomedical database is freely available for anyone to use anywhere and includes 20 million citations that date back to the 1940s.
Regional Business News
This is an EBSCO business database which “provides comprehensive full text coverage for regional business publications…75 business journals, newspapers, and newswires from all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States”.
STAT!Ref
The STAT!Ref database is a full text resource that enables users to cross search multiple evidence based medical resources at once. This database includes 5-Minute Clinical Consult, DSM-IV-TR, Merck Manual of Diagnosis and the Oxford Textbook of Medicine among others. This database is only available to PA students.
Teacher Reference Center
This EBSCO education index includes citations from "over 260 titles from the most popular teacher and administrator trade journals, periodicals, and books" and is freely available for anyone to use anywhere with an Internet connection.
Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) databases
Tennessee Electronic Library is a diverse collection of twenty-one databases and indexes for use by Tennessee residents. These resources may be searched anywhere in Tennessee that has an Internet connection.
UpToDate
This is a comprehensive evidence-based clinical information resource available to clinicians. Written exclusively for UpToDate by more than 3,600 clinician authors, content is comprehensive and fully referenced. Also includes Lexi-Interact ™ drug interactions program. This database is only available to PA students.
Web of Knowledge: CCC
From Web of Knowledge: Current Contents Connect® is a current awareness database that provides easy Web access to complete tables of contents, abstracts, bibliographic information, and abstracts from the most recently published issues of leading scholarly journals, as well as from more than 7,000 relevant, evaluated websites. Also included is full bibliographic information from some electronic journals before they are published.
Westlaw
This is a legal database that is only available to Legal Studies students.
