Ralph Gillespie joined the South College School of Pharmacy as the Pharmacy Academic Support Services Coordinator (P.A.S.S. Program) after more than 21 years at Pellissippi State Community College, rising to the rank of Associate Professor. He has been involved with learning skill development in the areas of reading comprehension, reading rate, vocabulary development, note-taking and test-taking skills, as well as making a successful transition to college. He has presented at national conferences and been published in national refereed journals. He completed his B.S. in Secondary Education at Bowling Green State University in 1983, a M.Ed. in Reading Diagnosis and Remediation in 1985, also from Bowling Green State University and doctoral coursework in Educational Administration and Supervision leading to principal and assistant superintendent certificates in 1989.
