Patrecia Elise Eaton

RN, PA-C
Principal Faculty

Current Position and Professional Experience:

Elise Eaton serves as principal faculty in the Masters of Health Science Physician Assistant Program at South College in Knoxville, TN.

Professor Eaton obtained her Physician Assistant Certification from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in 2004. Prior to that she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Arts from the University of St. Frances in Joliet, IL. She graduated from formerly named University of New York Regents College with an Associate of Science in Nursing. She also earned an Associate of Science in General Studies and her First Responder certification from Roane State Community College. She is currently enrolled in a Masters of Science program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine.


Professional Education:

Professor Eaton earned her Certified Nursing License and worked in the ER for 2 years performing duties such as splinting fractures, phlebotomy, EKG, and assisting in various procedures like chest tube insertion and wound dressing after sutures and burns. After earning her RN license she continued to work in the ER, ICU, and Oncology floors for the next 8 years. After earning her PA license she has work in a Family Practice office providing primary care in her local community then was asked to assist in a dual role that also began including surrounding nursing homes. She currently serves as the primary provider for one of those nursing homes.

  • Women’s Health
  • Health Assessment and Physical Exam
  • End of Rotation instruction of PA students
  • OSLER testing of PA students
