Kimberly Lay

Principal Faculty

Current Position and Professional Experience:

Mrs. Kimberly Lay is a faculty member in the Master's of Health Science Physician Assistant Program at South College in Knoxville, TN. Kimberly is currently a course assistant in the Health and Physical Assessment class and the Clinical Assessment and Management I, II and III series. She also assists in the Endocrinology lectures. She is a full time practicing Physician Assistant for over 15 years. She specializes in Family Practice and Urgent Care. She also has several years of her experience in Gastroenterology and Endocrinology specialties.


Professional Education:

Kimberly is a 1995 graduate of Western Michigan University with a undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences- Pre-Med. She graduated in 1997 from the Lutheran College Physician Assistant Program.


Teaching Responsibilities:

  • Assistant Lecturer: Endocrinology
  • Course Assistant: HAPE and CAM I, II, III
  • Assistant: End of Rotation evaluations
