Residency Program

Located in Knoxville, TN, the South College School of  Pharmacy is committed to meeting the health needs of the people of Knoxville  through its education, research, scholarship, and service programs.

The South College School of Pharmacy – Kroger Pharmacy PGY1 Community Practice Residency  is designed to be a comprehensive postgraduate experience that advances a  pharmacist's education and training in drug therapy and disease management for  patients in the community/ambulatory setting. The residency prepares the  pharmacist for the current and future realities of patient care in a rapidly  changing health care environment. It provides opportunities for integrating the  pharmaceutical care practice model and practice-based outcomes research in community/ambulatory  settings.

The resident  candidate in the program(s) will be appointed as Clinical Assistant Professor  at the South College School of Pharmacy and will complete clinical learning  objectives at Kroger Pharmacy in the Knoxville area.
