Current Position and Professional Experience:

Ms. Mindy Goldberg is the Director of Academic Services in the Master's of Health Science Physician Assistant Program at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee where she holds the rank of Associate Professor. She has over ten years of experience as an educator, over six of which have been in physician assistant education. Her clinical experience includes family medicine, women's health, infectious disease, occupational medicine, and sleep medicine. She has worked in AIDS clinical research as well. She established the now defunct Refugee Clinic at the East Tennessee Regional Health District, and served as the OSHA/TOSHA compliance officer there. At Pellissippi State Technical Community College she was one of the first adjunct instructors to teach a web course.

Professional Education:

Ms. Goldberg is a graduate of the University of California at Davis Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Program. She has a Master of Public Health in international health from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. Her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology is from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She also completed post-Master's coursework at Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health focusing on maternal and child health.
