Below is a list of standard software that South College uses.
Standard Software Package
South College uses the following software as a core platform for Desktops & Laptops:

Adobe Acrobat Reader X
QuickTime
RealPlayer
Internet Explorer 9
Windows Media Player
Power DVD 4.0
Roxio Easy CD Creator
AVG Anti-Virus 2011
Panopto Recorder
Smartboard Notebook
If you PC does not have one of the above and you would like to add it, please create a help desk ticket and IT will schedule the Install with you. Software that is on the Standard Package list does not have to go through the Standard Software Request Process below.
Additional Software
If you require additional software not located on the above list, please visit the "Request Forms & Processes" link located under "Computing Resources" on the left side of this page, and follow the procedure located there.
Software Upgrades
If your PC needs a Software upgrade of any of the above software, please create a help desk ticket, and IT will schedule the upgrade with you.
