Dr. Justin Kullgren both graduated and completed an Ambulatory Care residency from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice with South College School of Pharmacy and has substantial experience developing curriculum and instructing on a variety of topics and to a variety of audiences. Since May 2007, Justin has provided over 45 continuing education presentations to nurses, oncology trainees, pharmacists, and physicians. As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Tennova Hospice, Justin consults with nurses, physicians, and other palliative interdisciplinary team members on pain and symptom management, prevention and treatment of adverse drug events, medication dosing, and monitoring and disease state management. Dr. Kullgren precepts students on both Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotations each year as well as helping with student pharmacy associations. Currently, he is also working on two research projects related to medications and end-of-life care.
