Dr. Lauren D. Tesh began her career in pharmacy by working as an inpatient and outpatient pharmacy technician at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in her home town of Washington, D.C. Her clinical interests in infectious diseases (ID) include but are not limited to: sexually transmitted infections, travel medicine, medication therapy management, antimicrobial stewardship and outcomes research. Dr. Tesh’s non-ID clinical interests include: pharmacogenomics, psychiatry and medical anthropology.
