School of Pharmacy
Welcome and thank you for visiting the South College School of Pharmacy
website. Our website seeks to provide vital information about the School of
Pharmacy for a variety of internal and external audiences. As a new School of
Pharmacy, our website appearance and content will be continuously updated, so we
encourage you to visit frequently for important updates and current news.
On January 23, 2012 we were notified that the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Board of Directors had awarded Precandidate Status to the School of Pharmacy. This decision follows a comprehensive on-site evaluation conducted by an ACPE appointed evaluation team on November 7 - 9, 2011. The evaluation team report was very positive, finding that the School of Pharmacy had met all of the 30 Accreditation Standards for this stage of development as a new School of Pharmacy. While this is an exciting event for the School of Pharmacy, much additional work is already being committed to the next steps in the accreditation process and future evaluation team visits. More information about ACPE accreditation is located at the accreditation link on the School of Pharmacy website.
Additional information is provided in other areas of our
website. Again, thank you for visiting and please contact us if you cannot find
the information that you need.

Reasons for students not completing on-time (i.e. 2 years for Associate degree programs, 4 years for Baccalaureate degree programs):
|
|||
| An institution calculates an on‐time graduation rate for each program by: * Determining the number of students who completed the program during the most recently completed award year, * From the total students identified in step one, determining the number of students that completed the program within normal time, regardless of whether the student transferred into the program or changed programs at the institution, and * Dividing the number of students who completed the program within normal time, as determined in step two, by the total number of students who completed the program, as determined in step one, and multiplying the result by 100. |
