The South College Help Desk is the main point of contact for students that require IT assistance at the college. For detailed instructions on how to use the Help Desk, please refer to the Student Help Desk Guide. The Help Desk is accessible using your Student Portal login and password. If you are unable to log in to the Help Desk, please contact us by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
South College uses Office 365 hosted by Microsoft. During orientation, you are given a "Live ID" which is your e-mail address. If you are unable to log in to your student e-mail, please create a Help Desk ticket. For more information about your Office 365 account and features, please see the support for Office 365.
Log into Moodle (http://moodle.southcollegetn.edu) using your student portal username and password. Moodle user guides and detailed how-to information can be found in the Student Tech Help section within the Student Portal. Please create a Help Desk ticket for any Moodle related issues.
Papercut is the print management system used for payments associated with printing and photocopying at South College. If you have questions about how to activate your print/copy card or request a refund, the Student Printing Information page provides basic information on these processes. If you have trouble accessing your print account, please create a Help Desk ticket in the Student Help Desk.
For computer lab, laptop, and or other on-site technology issues, please use the Help Desk and create a support ticket for assistance.
