Dr. Marco Castaņeda

Adjunct Faculty, Anatomy & Physiology I & II

Dr. Marco Castañeda, a practicing Chiropractic Physician, is the adjunct faculty for Anatomy and Physiology I & II at South College since 2006. He has taught various subjects from grade school to undergraduate school. Dr. Castañeda completed 4,620 classroom hours (in addition to internship) for his Doctorate from the founding school of Chiropractic  Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, IA. In addition to numerous post-graduate studies (both Chiropractic and Soft-Tissue related). He also holds a Bachelor’s of Liberal Arts, and Associate’s Degrees in Pre-Med and Business Management. In private practice in Knoxville, TN (now Halls), he has been educating and treating patients with certified Space Technology, Physio-Therapeutics, and other modalities for varied health conditions including personal and sports related injury, organic disease, and overall wellness, since 2006. www.goDrC.comAn avid fan of Martial Athletics, (over 19 years) Dr. Castañeda is the team Chiropractic Physician of the Knoxville Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club and has enjoyed practicing and competing in Tae-Kwon-Do, KickBoxing, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu and most recently, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). He is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the North Knoxville Business Association, and the Association of Christian Therapists.
